CuBe2 is a superior alloy with approximately 2% beryllium addition. It has excellent electrical conductivity, it is used in the production of electronic devices. It can work at high temperatures. CuBe2 (CW101C)can be used in major sectors such as space science, aviation, electronic communications, Defense and the production of plastic parts. It has great hardness, very good strength, high electrical and thermal conductivity. It can be used in some applications which needs very high hardness. Additionally it is non-sparking material for using in combustible atmosphere.
