CuCoNiBe

What is CuCoNiBe (CuCoNiBe, DIN 17666 -  C17510, CW103C,  C17500 : CLASS 3 (III), CuCoNi1Be)

CuCoNiBe has very good resistance. This copper ( CuCoNiBe - CW103C) alloy contains nickel, cobalt and beryllium. Hardness and high heat resistance combined with high electrical and thermal.

conductivity. Since this alloy is very durable, it can be worked under difficult conditions. CuCoNiBe (CW103C) is one of the most preferred alloys. It can operate at high temperatures and the wear rate is very high. CuCoNiBe (CW103C) can be preferred in hot and cold shaping. It is considered one of the most produced alloys within Optima Metals.

Where to use CuCoNiBe (CuCoNiBe, DIN 17666 -  C17510, CW103C,  C17500 : CLASS 3 (III), CuCoNi1Be)

  • Resistance welding cosumables (discs,electrodes,holders)

  • Mesh welding electrodes

  • Plunger tips for aluminium injection casting

  • Gravity casting dies for brass or non-ferrous casting

  • Inserts or cooling plate of plastic injection moulds

  • Application where require thermal stability
